Warranty / Specifications

At Trew Industrial Wheels, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We stand behind the durability and performance of our wheels and offer a one-year warranty against defects in material or workmanship from the date of shipment.

Warranty Coverage: This warranty ensures that our wheels are free from defects and will perform reliably under normal operating conditions for a period of one year after the date of shipment from our factory.

Exclusions: The warranty does not cover instances of overloading, misapplication, abuse, normal wear and tear, damage during transit, or usage in applications or conditions that were not communicated to us in advance.

Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the replacement cost of the caster or wheel that is found to have a valid warranty claim. Trew Industrial Wheels will not assume liability for any incidental damage resulting from the use of our products.

Voidance of Warranty: Please note that any modification to our products made by others will void this warranty.

No Other Express or Implied Warranties: This warranty constitutes the full extent of our product warranty and replaces any other warranties, expressed or implied.

Design Specification Changes

At Trew Industrial Wheels, we continuously enhance our products and manufacturing methods. Therefore, we reserve the right to modify the specifications of items in this catalog without notice. Rest assured, these updates aim to deliver better performance and value. For any critical dimensions or specifications, please verify when placing an order. 

Returns

All returned goods must be authorized in writing in advance of shipment. Goods are to be returned freight prepaid. All goods must be in new and unused condition and be standard stock items. A handling charge will be assessed depending on the cost of reconditioning and restocking the product. Non-stock or modified products are not subject to return.

Other factors to consider in choosing a wheel type include:

Bearing Type: The type of bearing chosen can have a major impact on rollability, reliability, durability, maintenance schedules, and capacity. 

Floor conditions: Obstacles, debris, oil, and chemicals can significantly influence wheel performance and lifespan. As a general guideline, softer treads excel in obstacle-laden environments, offering floor protection and quiet operation. On the other hand, harder treads are ideal for smooth floors, ensuring reliability while providing less cushioning and floor protection.

Capacity Ratings

Load capacities provided are intended as general guidelines and may vary based on the specific application and desired performance. Trew capacities are determined for intermittent use at speeds not exceeding 3 mph. For treaded wheels, increasing speed or duty cycle may reduce capacity. Several factors, including obstacles, bearing lubrication, and environmental conditions, can impact wheel lifespan. Drive wheel applications often involve demanding duty cycles and high torque requirements, which can adversely impact the wheel’s capacity.
